What is Medveten kultur?

The purpose of the association is to organise events together with its members to create a place for people to meet and grow in, with a specific mission of creating a sense of belonging, a culture where everyone feels involved and also to support, encourage and engage each other.

All events are sober and child-friendly. The association addresses people of all ages, regardless of background and is a non-political, trade-union or religious bound nonprofit association.

How did it begin?

A dark and cold January night four friends met in a warm and cozy restaurant in Stockholm to take part of a dream one of them had:

To come together, friends and family, in the summer, to cel­ebrate and share the experience of life on earth. All friends thought it sounded like a good idea and so seeds were planted that evening...

The four friends soon became five when they found a soul sister who shared the same dream, their vision merged into one force and together they formed Medveten kultur (Conscious Culture) that since then has been organising event, festivals and gatherings.

We believe …

… that when we create together, we're not only raising the vibration and creating something we couldn’t do ourselves, but we start to take care and treat each other like family and our surrounding as our home and when we do that, we're not only feeling good as in our own home but making a home for others at the same time!
